Be a key member of the Group
We wish to ensure that the Stop Dorcas Lane Turbines Action Group fully represents the concerned community. Hence we need people from all villages to join our opposition to the Wind Farm and to help co-ordinate activities across the area. Equally, if you wish to sit on the Action Group Committee please Contact Us.
We are also very keen to draw upon all the local expertise within the community. In particular, if you have knowledge and experience in any of the following areas we would be particularly keen to hear from you:
Planning Law
Environmental/welfare
Acoustics/Noise pollution
Health and Safety
Fund-Raising (see below)
Fund-Raising
It is evident just by reading the many other websites dedicated to fighting Wind Farms that the costs of such a venture are considerable. The Stop Dorcas Lane Action Wind Farm Group will require funds for such things as printing leaflets, creating awareness campaigns, employing experts to provide opinions on the proposals and supporting environmental studies/surveys and of course legal fees. This will all mount into the £000’s of pounds.
As such we will need to build fund-raising activities and will gratefully receive any suggestions and more importantly offers of assistance to make things happen. Please make sure that you sign up for our mailing list so that we can keep you informed and Contact Us if you are able to offer assistance. Expert Fund Raisers are most welcome!
In the future in this section we will also let you know what events are on and keep you updated on the status of funds and what they have been used for.

Download and display a poster
Download an A4 sized Stop Dorcas Lane Turbines poster and display it publicly - in a window, a car or on a garden fence. Make people aware that you feel strongly about this issue. Alternatively, contact us and we can supply larger sized posters and placards if you have somewhere prominent to display them
